Story by Story is a program that allows teens to act as journalists, videographers and entrepreneurs. The project's objective is to motivate and inspire students to accomplish personal and career goals by using successful stories from the South Coast MA community. Story by Story provides young people with a community-based learning project that involves exploring the possibilities of entrepreneurship, improving work ethic, strengthening communication skills and enhancing business knowledge and provides adults with an opportunity to tell their story and get it published.
South Coast MA teens are publishing a quarterly 48-page, full color, teen magazine entitled The Link: Our Language, Our Voice, Our Mind. The Link features subjects
of interest to teens-music, art, sports, entertainment, college information, creative writing, photography and much more. Teens edit, design and write for this magazine. They also develop marketing and distribution plans. After-school jobs will be provided for the leadership roles of this magazine.
